| Luke has the gift. From my perspective as a classically trained artist who has studied the history of music and art, there have only been a few true visionaries that pop in and out of the historical time line. Organic artists that cannot be trained or imitated. These are the true masters that are just born with the gift. Like the magic paint wand that falls onto the floor and brings color to the world. Musically, Luke has a very direct connection between what he feels and what he sounds. There seems to be very little lost in translation. It's like that groove that we get in the back of our neck that makes our head bob up and down; it just goes right out his hands and into everyone else's bodies until we're all feeling it together. Luckily he listens to groovy music, otherwise we'd all be feeling square together. Jeremy Sment composer |
